I've competed twice, & some day might consider another show. My current goal is to gain lean muscle & lose body fat. I had another baby 22 mo. Ago & gained 47 lbs. I'm in a size 6 down from a 12. I'm working towards a fit toned body.

Background

When I Started: Oct 2004
HOW I STARTED:

After having my second child I was tired of being fat! I kept saying I just had a baby even when she was almost a year old. I joined a local gym & was inspired by the owners Brandy & Aaron Maddron. They were well known bodybuilder competitors. I was amazed how dedicated they were to their sport. Looking at before & after pictures of other people inspired me even more to get in shape & compete. It took a clean diet & serious workouts, but I did it!!!!

WHY I LOVE IT:

I just love listening to my music, and getting into "the zone". It's a great feeling to be able to work towards goals, and accomplishing them. Most of all I love seeing my body transform. It's also vital that I stay in shape for my job. I have helped some of the guys at work to get motivated at the gym, and lose weight. It's so exciting when they see the results of their dedication. I love to inspire others.
