Glad to hear you're doing well and you will be getting back to a more normal routine. Keep me posted on how you're doing. I have just posted my 60 day pics. I can certainly see the differences from day 1 and from day 30. I am generally very impatient when it comes to my results so I am really forcing myself to stay the course and be patient.
Hey Andy how goes the come back routine? I bet it feels good to be back at the iron. Well I am in the middle of week 7 of the Max-OT program and I must say I feel stronger and see progress in the mirror as well. I will be up for my 60 day progress pics in a few days so we will see then when I can compare side by side.
That's great that you will begin to workout starting next week. I know how badly it sucks to not be able to workout due to injury or surgery and I know how anxious one can get to be back on the iron. Are you gonna do the Max-OT or are you gonna start out light and work your way back into things? The latter would be the safest bet to prevent undue injuries after a layoff like that.
Andy, how goes the recovery? Have you been able to get back to your normal routine? I am making great strides with this Max-OT. I already reached my goal of 400lb squat in a manor of 6 weeks so now I had set a new goal of 500lbs.
hey there..Yes they do have shows in Dallas. The Europa is pretty big.And I did Fitness America Texas.Im not sure whats next Im just starting to think about it.Prolly spring time. How are you?
Hey Andy, how goes the recovery? Hope you are doing well. I am on week 3 of the Max-OT training and each workout I am loading just a little more weight especially on the big compound moves like squat, bench, and deadlift. I know how aggrivating it is when you are laid up and can't workout. Keep the faith brother!
I know exactly what you mean. I was used to doing more exercises and more sets. Tomorrow will be the close of week 1 for me and my son. I don't know if this will make sense but, I can tell the difference between muscle fatigue and muscle stimulation. It is a different kind of soreness after the routine. This one certainly provides the muscle stimulation. Sorry to hear about the knee. I had a co-worker sprain his ankle playing dodgeball of all things and now he is out of the gym for a while too.
Did you have a chance to check out that Max-OT Training Program yet. I started it this past Monday and man can I tell a difference in the way my muscles feel and react to it.
Trust me, I know my body does not reflect my knowledge and that is soley due to previously poor eating habits. I dropped like 40-45 lbs in 3 months at the beginning of this year and then i tapered off because I got lax again and caused me to gain back 10 lbs. I have a renewed conviction to make my body reflect what I know and preach.
Yeah you might be interested in this program too. It is specifically designed for gaining muscle mass & strength I could send you a copy of it if you would like. It changed my perspective on a lot of things and reinforced alot of what I already knew. I eat a few servings of almonds, unsalted peanuts or cashews, yogurt, & cheese for my fats.
Thanks for the reply. I do eat 6 meals a day all high in protein and low in carbs & fat. I hit the eliptical 3 times a week (sometimes more)using a HIIT (High Impact Interval Training)method for 20-25 minutes. I also use the BodyBugg for tracking calorie intake & burn. My biggest down fall I think is I tend to fall off my nutrition on the weekends. I have a renewed commitment though and I am stoked to start this new Max-OT training program.
