When I Started:
1996
How I Started:
I've been active since I was little: ballet, gymnastics, field hockey, soccer, softball etc. I was a jack of many activities but master of none, which is fairly frustrating since I'm a bit of a perfectionist (did I just admit that?!?!) Anyway, I worked out occasionally in college and took a weight lifting class my senior year. It has been a natural fit ever since.
Why I Love It:
I love the look and feel of a muscular body- on myself and others. I love when I get a pump after an esp. good w/o and it hurts to move the next day. I love when I've worked hard in the kitchen and the gym and I get compliments on my physique.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by reading magazines and learning new diet techniques and exercises that I can incorporate. I have been pretty on-point in the past and had great results, but it's been sporatic and I know I've never given 100%. I'm motivated by finding out what I can accomplish by continuing to improve and truly push myself.

Not really a "before" but I had to put something here...
I'll compete again in 2008, but not before that. I need to put on some more muscle! I got my suits through Vandella Costumes. I was eventually very pleased with them. Good luck!
Awesome accomplishments you've made. Have you competed yet? You should just go for it--for sure! Your pictures are awesome and you look like you have a natural confidence about yourself. I think that's really important! Keep it up, girl!
You can do whatever you set your mind to as long as you are willing to push yourself as hard as you can to be the best that you can be, no more...no less. I wish you much success and look forward to seeing not only your progress but the photos from your first competition.
Thanks! That is one of my favorites. I train just the same, its the most amazing feeling after wards. Always train with emotions, it will make you stronger! Looking good, hows your training going?
Hope you win next month!! I'm still in the 260 and did a 270 for 2 reps a few weeks ago. Been weak on chest pres for somemreason the past few weeks.
But for some reason my chest numbers and reps on other chest exercises. Have gone WAY up!! I mean a lot!! What you think of that?

That is the only two shows on the west coast right now, In the INBF. We are trying to get more shows out here soon.
We would love to have you compete. Hope you had a great weekend?
