How I Started:
Started working out very early...around 11 or 12 years old. Just picked up muscle mags and lifted in my house. Then a gym opened right across the street from my house and I was hooked.
Why I Love It:
My body has always responded nicely and quickly to physical stimulation. It's great having daily affirmative bio-feedback and its a great stress reliever
How I Stay Motivated:
I am most motivated by my desire to simply remain healthy. I'd rather be proactive with this than have to be "doctor ordered" to engage in fitness. As long as God continues to allow me to enjoy this blessing of good health, I will continue to honor this by working out regularly. Almost daily compliments from strangers also helps with motivation.

Having the same sized waist I had in highschool.

Goal (Long):
I compete against myself. Living up to my personal standards will always be the first goal. I may compete in a bodybuilding event again sometime, but I'm more interested in simply lifting, getting stronger and remaining healthy. Short term, my goal is to improve my strength as measured by a 420lb Bench, 650lb deadlift, and 600lb squat by the end of March 2009.
Why I like this video: Body control, muscle control, strength and flexibility on display. And downright sexy too!

Why I like this video: Because, on the one hand, most of my work colleagues are scared to death of me because I'm big and black....on the other hand, because of their unfounded fear, and subsequent behavior, I often want to do to them what Terry Tate does in this video. Ironic I guess?
