I am just starting out. I have been struggling to lose weight for several years now. I just had my son on Jan 22, 2008 and I am set to get fit.
Why I Love It:
I am mentally positive; I feel good in my clothes; and I love the feeling of accomplishment!
How I Stay Motivated:
I use pictures of successful figure and fitness competitors, and I network with people who have accomplished the goals that I am aiming towards this year.
BB Accomplishments:
None as of yet, but I am working on it.

I want to feel sexy again and live a healthy life for my son!
Goal (Long):
I want to lose the remaining 10lbs of pregnancy weight and an additional 40lbs. I want to fit into cute clothes and aspire to compete some time in the future.
I am completely lost! I'm breastfeeding and I don't know what to do about food or supplements. I am supposed to increase my caloric intake 300 calories. I also can't have any sugar substitutes such as sucralose or aspertane. I feel like if I can't modify my eating that I won't be able to...
I was sending message back and forth with dvsness. She has a back situation as well. To help, she uses a leather workout belt (hers is custom), it provides stability and you are less likely to hurt yourself.
Hi Elizabeth; A high school English teacher and cheerleading coach? Now that's a very valuable employee. I used to coach swimming and alittle basketball myself... Nice pic!
Saw a couple of other low impact excercises last night at the gym.
1. Lay on stomach, stetch arms past head, lift arms and legs, hold for count. Sort of a reverse plank. See if you can do 3x30sec.
2. lay on back, bring up knees, twist side to side until knees hit floor on each side. Good for the obliques and abs.
Glad things are going well, example is the best motivator hands down. I'm freaking out that my husband is working out with me...it's taken 10 years, but it's finally happening. Miracle!
