My girlfriend used to be a powerlifter and got me into it earlier this year. Her goals have changed from lifting heavy to running. I started to gain weight, and still love to lift heavy, but I don't want to put on sloppy weight/muscle.

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
Have at it. If you're lifting a 700lb deadlift, then scream as much as needed to get that shi* up!

I usually do my squat max with  really low box squats.  Today I did just regular squats.  This is the first time I've squatted in 3 weeks, due to the gym being closed.  Not many people were there at the gym today and I didn't see anyone I trusted enough to spot me.  I was able to coax...

did you go to the gym today? I did 4 miles tuesday, 3.5 miles yesterday, and 3.5 miles 2day. I did weights all three days and I'll be doing lots of stairs in the am. I'll weigh in on wen. Have a good weekend.
