Workout Program:
I am currently in a weight lifting program designed by Chaleane Johnson, the creator of turbo jam. I workout at home with free weights. I lift weights 3 days and do cardio 2-3 days when I am letting my muscles rest. This program is awesome!! Right now I am in the burn phase and will be on to the push phase at the end of the week. Basically you lift pretty heavy but you go at a super slow pace. The first week I was so sore, I felt sore in places I didn't know could get that sore. After the first week I was hooked. This is really something I can do and am motivated to see the end result. It is a 90 day program, similar to p90x. I already know Chalene from the turbo jam workouts I do so I thought I would give her weight lifting program a shot. You follow a schedule of lifting weights and cardio for each phase, which is burn, push and then lean. You can even go another 30 days to get even more extreme, it is all the workouts from the other phases in a rotation. I am only 3 weeks into it but it has made a difference in my strength and my energy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good challenge, and a workout you can stick with.
