My Workout Program

My workout program is one that I created for myself. The basic outline of the program is M,W,F are doubles and Tue & Thu are Cardio/make-up days and Sat is another cardio day. The first workout of the day on M,W,F is a more mass building workout with 4 sets of 10-12 reps of most all the exercises and a lot of compound movements (deadlifts, squats, etc.) and since it's done around mid-day, I have a lot of energy. On the evening of those days it's a different set of body parts but more isolation exercises and refining with 3 sets max and 8-10 reps. Tue & Thu I only do one w/o, allowing my body to recover somewhat. The really cool thing that I've put into this program is how I mixed the w/o of the same bodyparts in the week. Ie, Mon (noon) bodyparts are Wed (eve) bodyparts just a different method of training. So, each bodypart gets hit twice a week from different exercises/directions if you will. It's very taxing but I love it. The rest days are welcomed along with the weekend breaks!!

My Motivation Program

I see others that are about my age with respectable bodies and decided it doesn't have to be them only. The results I notice from time to time in my own body make me want to see more.

I am still a bit smaller than I was earlier this year and fighting with some residual fat around the abs right now! LOL! Continue getting in those great workouts. MalibuDeanna Your welcome and thank you for the request. When I read you did the program I was really interested in your feedback. I have talked to a few others on it who say the same thing. Not sure if they were the results of the gym or the P90x or both but your progress pics are great. I am looking to do it. spring85sigma Thanks for stopping by my page and for the encouraging comments. As far as the running is concerned,I would suggest some interval work and sprints to help with the stamina. I know my runs have improved a great deal with the addition of Tabata runs. They don't last long, but they add stamina! You are making outstanding progress. Keep up the hard work! Sep 26, 2012 7:58am
