HOW I STARTED:

My second year in college my roommate was working out. I was tired of being the tall abnormally skinny guy and decided to join him on his daily trek to the gym. We both later joined a rugby team and working out became a must. Before I left for the summer I promised I would come back to school 15 lbs heavier. I came back my third year and had gained 15 lbs. After college I didn't work out for a few years but then got back into it as I was sick of feeling weak and being unattractive.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I look better, feel better, adds a steadying influence to my life and makes me much more confident in everything I do. I used to dread taking off my shirt at the beach or going swimming, now I get many compliments whenever I take my shirt off. Coming from being ultra skinny it's strange to get compliments on how I look.
