I always had a nice body when I was younger, ate what I wanted, danced a lot, stayed in pretty decent shape. Then suddenly my body changed. I started gaining weight in 2004. I went from weighing 125 pounds in 2004 to my highest which was 195 pounds during the summer of 2007. I have been going rounds with working out and eating healthy since. I have learned a lot over the last several years and I am ready to put my knowledge to work for me and get into the best shape of my life.
Why I Love It:
I really love working out because it makes me feel good. I'm happier, healthier and more confident when I'm doing it.
How I Stay Motivated:
By remembering that this is a lifestyle change, not a diet or a "fix".
She is amazing, always learning and always trying new things! She's always there with a word of encouragment, a useful piece of knowledge, or a swift kick in the butt!
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you to be a better parent?
It makes my girls realize they can do anything and to never give up. We talk a lot about healthy food choices and getting up off the couch. I know that my girls will grow up with better body images and being active. It makes my girls realize they can do anything and to never give up. Other than the obvious benefits (appearance, health, etc.), how has bodybuilding and fitness improved your overall life?
It makes me feel stronger and more confident. It also makes me feel like a better mom, I won't let my girls become obese because I am too lazy to workout or cook healthy meals.

Do you have a significant other?
Yes
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped or hurt your relationship?
I hope to motivate my husband to get up and move. I want us both to be able to live a long healthy life together. He is very understanding and does whatever he can to help me be able to have time to do this.I hope to motivate my husband to get up and move. I just realized that I have been going super strong for 2 weeks now. Before that I was falling down and getting up, falling down and getting up. I had some sort of epiphany 2 weeks ago, and since then I have been doing great. I feel awesome and I'm not even craving junk food or having to...
Pretty good but gained weight over the holidays. I started eating clean this month and have lost 7 pounds so far. I just updated my stats so I can progress from there. I will do bady measurements tomorrow. I cannot wait for spring so I can run again!
That is so awesome. I can't say that I have been able to stick to a schedule, but I get in what I can, and if I can't lift I at least run. With this chaos right now not sure what to do. But I have the time I should just do it.
There are so many great things in my pie right now. I am pretty sure I saw my body change right before my eyes today when I was watching in the mirror. Isn't that crazy?
Week 6 in the books! Thanks for coming and doing the stats and photos with me! I didn't realize you girls were posting, I will be better from now on!
Xx On!!!!
Really good, thanks! Husband and I took measurements and I lost almost 3" from my hips in 2 weeks. Lost 1/2" from waist and about the same from thighs. We stocked up the fridge and freezer with good protein, produce and other good clean eating foods. Went back to school last week and I have so much more energy at the end of the day. Still looking forward to workouts, clothes are getting looser and feel so much more relaxed. How about you?
Im a teacher so im off this summer so I was able to kick it up a notch but I plan to:
3X a week lift and 30 mins bike/run after school: I lift heavy with low reps and have seen a lot of definition and strength gains that way. Plus you feel the soreness too so you know its working
2X a week Yoga 1 hr
2 days rest: This is hard for me because I feel guilty but once school starts I'll be thankful lol
