I started powerlifting during College Track and Field. I grew to love everything about the sport. Pushing yourself until you get that feeling that you are going to puke and your muscles are going to pop! I discovered how much I enjoyed the lifting and lived for the "PUMP" I soon competed in my first bodybuilding show and was hooked for life.
Why I Love It:
"The intensity, pump and pain."
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing I am a Life long 100% natural bodybuilder.
BB Accomplishments:
-1st Heavyweight 2009 INBF Washington State Natural.
-1st Heavyweight 2008 INBF Washington State Natural.
-Featured in ads for Anabolic Xtreme 2008.

I have never met a man that is so passionate about natural bodybuilding and every aspect with it. You are addicting Berto, a true inspiration!
He's FATHER FLEX....enough said.
I was fortunate enough to meet and compete with Jeff the day he won his WNBF Pro card. He is what natural bodybuilding is all about. Symmetry, conditioning, presence and humble all at the same time. He has a true love for the sport and all those around him.
What supplements do you take immediately after your workout? Why?
I usually take 30 grams Carbohydrate (waxy maize starch) Mixed with 3 servings Xtend and drink during my workout. Post workout I drink 40 grams whey protein Isolate then have a whole food meal about 1 hour later.I usually take 30 grams Carbohydrate (waxy maize starch) Mixed with 3 servings Xtend and drink during my workout. How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
10+ reps per set. It's not how much you lift, it's how much you look like you can lift.
Four finalists qualified for the overall competition and a chance to win their pro card. From left, Luke Ehlis (heavyweight), Tony Quincy (light heavyweight), victor Brad Loomis (middle weight), Jason Kennedy (light weight).
Great avi pic bro. Awesome achievement. A true inspiration for natural bodybuilding. Just look at those intercoastals. Wowow! An anatomy illustration for sure. Great pose for you.
Thanks for the add. I don't have a plan to compete in bodybuilding for a while but planning to try powerlifting. I need more strength and size. Great to see other bodybuilder from CWU
Spent the week working, but we ALWAYS eat good:).... We will stop at nothing to continue to make progress... Even through our 90's! I'll be the guy with the diaper posing trunks:). Hope your holiday was a good one..... I would bet you are on the turkey's most feared list!:)
Hey Luke, Ended up 7th. It was a very tough class, something I have never seen before. I'll try and post pics on the boards, I'll let ya know where. I hope your training is going well, your offseason is about to come to and end right?
Thanks Luke! Berto, Eric, Brad and myself are working hard to get the word out there. It is starting to make progress. I am looking forward to your articles, but there is no pressure, whenever you get the chance. We appreciate it!!
Thanks so much! It was a fun show! You would have got a kick out of seeing "Roberta"! She never looked better:). Hopefully I can put up some pics soon! Thanks again!
