I began working out 9 years ago, but only started taking it seriously 2 years ago- when I trained for my first Figure show in May 2005.
Why I Love It:
The way it makes me feel- it gives me balance and the ultimate sense of satisfaction. It makes me a better person in all other aspects of my life.
How I Stay Motivated:
When I talk to other people and they tell me how much they respect the fact that I am so dedicated. It really motivates me to keep it going to make myself and my family/friends proud of how far I have come.
I also stay motivated by setting goals for myself... my current one is to compete in Junior Nationals of 2008.
BB Accomplishments:
I placed 3rd in my first Figure show. Two years later I placed 2nd & then 6th in my 2 shows. No, I didn't win the shows or anything, but bodybuilding is all about improving yourself and taking yourself to higher levels each year. I accomplished that and am very proud. I wish I would have done better at the shows, of course, but as long as I am making steady improvements, I am satisfied. Rome wasn't built in a day...;)

I NEED muscle in order to step on stage at Junior USA's in April!!! I am driven and determined to at least look like I belong on stage with the rest of those amazingly beautiful women!!!
Yes, I want to gain muscle, but it is also important to me to feel comfortable doing so. So I would like stay as lean as possible while gaining my muscle. Just like everyone else... ;)
Can you say, stunning?! You look amazing!! Good luck with all your goals--I just got my pt certification in December--do you know who you are going through?

I'm looking to compete at the Tucson Southwest in April and hope to be down to 6 or 7% BF by then...I'm about 17% now after only one week of the diet. And you know, I'm actually to a point in my life where I enjoy the slow ride to perfection...it's the journey typically for me, where all of the good memories are created..Hope the weekends a good one...
