All the other kids at school were into doing drugs and all. I didnt want that kind of lifestyle. I started in my Grandfathers basement with a little home gym at 18 and joined my first gym at 20.
Why I Love It:
I know what its like and what it looks like not to feel and look healthy, Yuck!
How I Stay Motivated:
My biggest motivator and of course back then it was for the girls but at 38 I tell myself and others, better workout before the doctor tells you to. By then you already have a problem. I dont want no problems!

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Winging of the scapula, research it, i had to because the doctors didnt have a clue. Turns out i strained my thoracic nerve and have good but limited mobility in my right shoulder.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Improper form, just because you could get a curl going at 150 lbs doesnt mean you could actually lift that weight. Try doing it in the correct mannor. What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?

You can, my back workout is posted in my blog, i done a year of wide grip cable pulldowns before starting chins, it seemed to help alot, also i used to suffer from bad back all the time until i started training it :) Thanx for compliment :)
