When I Started:
1998
How I Started:
I got started in High School working out for sports. I ran track and played basketball in High School, I thought that I could get faster by doing squats based off the advice from my older brother. I was also skinny so I thought I would like to be muscular instead of just skinny. (Like Michael Jordan) A few of my other friends lifted as well so I joined them and just got hooked from that point on. Then when I entered college I started to read magazines and learn as much as possible about lifting and living a healthy life from that point on it became a lifestyle.
Why I Love It:
Working out is my passion. It has helped me out in all phases of my life and it has helped me form life long relationships. It also it keeps me sane. It helped me stay balanced in college and start my professional career. It has given me self confidence to do anything that I set my mind to and taught me how to set goals and push my self to meet them.
How I Stay Motivated:
Well I take pride in staying in shape and I love bodybuilding. I feel that as being a bodybuilder and just a person that loves being fit I want to be able to portray that by having the best body I can have.
I did my first bodybuilding show this year and it was one of the greatest experiences in my life. But after the show I didn’t maintain my body the way I wanted too. It didn’t help that I moved from Boston to California and during that time I ate badly and didn’t workout, because with ending a job finding a new one and the move time was limited. So my goal is to get my self back to where I want to be and then compete in another show next year as well as do some road races for fun. My main goal is to live life to its fullest and enjoy the things that life has to offer

This was taken in Puerto Rico while I was on vacation. I was regularly working out but still had a lot to learn.
This was taken 4/21/07 at my first body building competition. The Spirit of America in Carver,MA.
Hey... nice to hear from u, man... Yea, I am looking forward to seeing you, and maybe we can manage a gym session during the visit... i got so many passes in my car, it feels like I am running PR for them (LOL)... Yeah man, Batman will be watched soon (maybe this weekend)... ttul
Hey girly man. You need a new profile picture. You are not anywhere near this small. I got more muscles in my eyebrow (one eyebrow) than you have in your photo. You are a much stronger dude these days. Glad you finally started lifting the 120lb'ers on the rows instead of those kiddy 80 lb'ers.
hey, what's up LA kid? I hope things are fine. My shoulder is feeling better now, and I should be cleared to get back soon. I guess all those injuries are teaching me to be a lot more disciplined; although the injuries cost me, but the lesson learned is priceless. I am really looking forward to doing some more deadling barbell and dumbbell curls... even some Triple 8s... Geez, I am running these things in my mind as I write this... Keep up the hard work, man! Talk to you later....

Yeah, I knew how you liked looking at hot sweaty men pumping weights and all. That is why I would not pick up the weights with you behind me. Now that I destroyed your reputation - anyone who is reading this - I am lying. Ed is the best workout partner because does not complain, strong [bigger than the photo the has up], and he is reliable. I rag on him cuz that is what we do to each other. Much respect.
Week, busy. I'll be out there in C.A. next week. Gotta DVD for you. Do not forget to remind me. I am thinking about going to Ronnie Coleman's gym since it is close to me - about 30 miles. It is called Metroflex. There are two in the Dallas area. Next time I want to try 320lb dumbell press, or 300lb dumbell decline.
Dude that was a great workout we had last night at the Golds gym in Venice, CA. I am really itching to try the 160 lb dumbells on a dumbell press but because jumping from 150's to 170's is pretty tough. I remember how it was jumpting from 125 to 145. You're nuts for wanting to workout for so long. Make sure you take your supplements and don't over train or you will not get big. See you in two weeks.
