Overall Goal: I'm currently deployed and have been sharing the CrossFit Kool Aid since I got here! My goal while I'm here is to add 50 pounds to my CrossFit Total and knock off 2 minutes from my Fran Time!
Fit Status:
Everyday I get a little stonger, a little faster, and a little better!
I found this picture of myself from the summer of 2001. I was roughly 195 lbs of out of shape crap. Seeing this picture just reinforces how important fitness is to me.
I hate those heat spots on my back...My medicine is in the mail!

I've been deployed now for about two months. It took me about a week to get settled in and get into any sort of routine. Once I began my normal daily routine things seemed to just fall into place. There are two gyms here both with their own unique equipment, for example one gym has...

I dont wanna look HUGE not my goal like yours but wanna be strong and fit! u got a great frame Bro!
thanks Eric for the add! really appreciate it.. yes might email/msg you some questions. There is a CF place here where I live, the **** thing though it would take me 1 and a half hours to get there! So means working 10 hours a day will be maybe a little more and seriously need to rest too! Man will deff check it out, and hey thanks again for the add! We'll hopefully chat soon! thanks again, Deano
Thank you for the add. I hope you can drop me a line occasionally for encouragement and any ideas you have. I would like to be able to ask you for pointers and/or ideas to progress. If that is OK with you? I hope to be an encouragement to you also. I am doing well and my training is getting back on track and I am working on my diet as well. Thanks again and stay strong.
Hey Mate, congrats on L 1 CrossFit Cert... There's fit and then there's CrossFit. I've actually got a mini CrossFit comp in October I'm preping for now, just trying to get shredded for it now... Any tips would be much appreciated. Cheers Mate.
Thanks, well my best advise to you is to drop snatch with a light weight that your comfortable with,to get use to keep your balance, tips on keeping balance while snatch, keep the bar as close as possible to your body, once its over your head, keep looking forward and lock your shoulder slightly behind your head.hope this helps.
What's Cross Fit all about? I'm guessing it's a cross-training style program? I'm interested, as I can see it is working very well with you. The link you have posted didn't work.
It's taken me quite long to get where I am today, I don't think I'll be able to get that much bigger. I'd like to gain a few more kg though. Thanks for the compliment ;)
CrossFit seems like a really good concept, especially for improving performance in many activities. I think my approach has been working quite well for me and my goal, which is primarily to gain size.
I work out 5-6 days/week. 4 day split: legs, chest-bi,tri-abs, back-shoulders. Focus on compounds on the biggest muscle groups. I usually do 12 sets/muscle group. How about you?
