My buddy introduced me to CrossFit and I was hooked from the first WOD!
Why I Love It:
It allows me to relieve the stress that comes with the day!
How I Stay Motivated:
This saying always motivates me:
"By entering here, you agree to give 100% of what you have. There are no excuses or second chances. Everyday, every moment is an opportunity to excel, to be more, to achieve your best. Do not squander your time by going through the motions. Train hard and get results. At the end of the day, look in the mirror and ask yourself if you gave your all. If you don't have that level of commitment, don't waste your time or ours"....MOTIVATED PEOPLE ONLY!
BB Accomplishments:
I'm not a bodybuilder; I'm a CrossFitter....Those accomplishments include 5 consecutive muscle-ups, 20 consecutive handstand push ups, 27 straight pull ups, and a 10:04 1 1/2 mile run time.

I found this picture of myself from the summer of 2001. I was roughly 195 lbs of out of shape crap. Seeing this picture just reinforces how important fitness is to me.
I know it doesnt seem like much but push ups with no shoulder pain is a huge step for me!
Yesterday I decided to start lifting again. I've been running pretty much for a month now and I'm almost back to where I was before my surgery but still need a little more conditioning. I'm shooting for sub 1 minute 1/4 mile. Anyway, the physical therapist gave me a bunch of...
USAFE or 3rd? It's huge pain the ass for me to get off of work. My unit doesn't believe PT is enough to get off work... matter of fact they are always talking $hit about A3 because you guys just take off whenever. Go figure, a bunch of Personnelist right? lol
I work for headquarters so there's mission after mission. But AFSCwise, I'm a 3S0 (personelist). What do you do that you can go to the gym everyday at 1500?!?!
Wow, that's awesome that you have a crossfit section in your gym. What base are you at? I do my wods by myself and I either have to move everything around or run from equipment to equipment. I get a lot of funny looks and comments from the bodybuilders, especially when I'm dragging barbells to the track or taking the C2 rower outside. Our base gym is tiny and outdated. A new one is in the works but I don't have the time to convince someone to include a crossfit section in it.
hi there! i've been a crossfitter since january. i was lucky enough to visit headquarters before it closed down in february this year. how long have you been doing it? have a good wod!
Hey bro- Looks like CF is going quite well for you! I just started it full time about 5 weeks ago and now getting real serious about my eating as well. I'm at Ali al Salem in Kuwait and the gym does not favor all the WODs, so I scale most. How do you think CF has affected your fitness level?
