This is the photo that started it all. I couldn't believe that after growing up reasonably athletic, I developed a gut and had no muscle tone whatsoever.
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Left shoulder while trying to do too much weight with flat bench Dumbbell Presses. It kept me out about 3 weeks. I just gave it some light exercise, but mostly rest.

Improper form, often with too much weight.

Any exercise where it is most tempting to use improper form.

Oh wow, I was just thinking that. Every time I tiptoe to a high level real life gets in the way and I get dealt a huge setback. Just last night I was thinking "Holy crap, I might be close to doing it this time." I need to shut up and go eat something! :) Thanks for the encouragement.
cheers for the advice, it'll be a real help, i've always had a problem with sleep so that probably doesnt help matters, i do take supplements but maybe i need more to reach my calorie intake reqs, it's time i stopped making excuses... hope you can reach all your goals. C
