How I Started:
I got started three year ago lookin at my picture taken with my dad. I was fooled into thinking I was in good shape; the truth is, pictures don't lie. I also got serious this past February after my gallbladder surgery. I'd been going back to the gym for two years but progress was slow. It was then I realized I had to eat better too. That's made all the difference in the world!
Why I Love It:
I love how it makes me feel after a workout: I have more energy when I leave the gym then when I had when I first get there! I'm always proud when I finish a set workout: it shows if I start something, I can finish it!
How I Stay Motivated:
I took some pics of myself shirtless and look at them to remind me why I'm doing this! Taking pics of yourself are the best motivator there is!
BB Accomplishments:
none yet, but who know what the future might hold...
....and am NOW tyring to get back on. This all started back in October of 2008 when I learned I had a cartilage tear in my right knee. Needless to say, I got very depressed about it. I want right back to my old eating habits just to make myself feel better. All this crap food when...

I know what you mean about pictures not telling any lies...I was shocked when I "really" saw myself in a picture. Looks like you're making great progress...keep it up! :)
