I took a few weight training classes my sophomore year in high school and i was surprised to see such a change.
Why I Love It:
Working out is one of my passions. I love it. I hope I can inspire others as others have inspired me and help people reach their goals. I love the feeling I get when anyone I'm helping realizes the amazing changes they've made and get that huge smile of personal satisfaction and accomplishment across their faces.
How I Stay Motivated:
Friends, work, and inside jokes. But really, it's also a commitment to myself. My body is not just my body. My body is my temple, my machine, my life - i want it to be nothing short of amazing
BB Accomplishments:
Placing 3rd in SJSU Sports Club bench press competition for under 175 weight class
Forum Signature:
the human mind is an amazing tool, the body an incredibly efficient machine... Use one to improve the other, use the other to upgrade the one

I'm pretty happy with my body now, but a little more muscle mass wouldn't hurt. I mostly just want to maintain and keep my body as agile, fast, strong, and flexible as it is. My body is great - it can do anything i ask of it so i want to work on endurance, size, and definition for the long haul.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 25 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
6%

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Shoulders (twice) - One with dumbell bench...an earthquake hit and I tried to catch the weight before it shifted too much. i assume i tore something. Took four weeks to rehab it.
Second time, i was doing plyo-pull ups. My shoulder locked and I moved through the range of motion on it - momentarily dislocated it. Never fully recoveredShoulders (twice) - One with dumbell bench...an earthquake hit and I tried to catch the weight before it shifted too much. i assume i tore something. Took four weeks to rehab it.
What supplements do you take immediately after your workout? Why?
post-workout is when i'll usually take any supplements, but I usually just eat really well, grab a protein shake, and a multivitamin if I haven't taken one already

Do you sometimes use energy enhancing supplements?
Yes
Which supplements do you take? When do you take them?
NO products always give me a pretty good boost for the gym. Other than that, I generally stay away from things that will jolt me up like that unless I REALLY need it to get through my day/night
Why I like this video: Lateef Crowder (featured in the movie "The Protector") is a shining example to me of how someone can be such a good size and still be able to do so much with his body. I strive to be just the same way everyday
Capoeira Vs. Muay Thai

Why I like this video: Tony Jaa v. Lateef Crowder (Muay Thai v. Capoeira) amazing vid with amazing martial artists. It's from the movie "The Protector", but someone threw in some Capoeira music for the soundtrack
Urban Ninjas!!!

Why I like this video: I like to try my hand at parkour here and there. this is always inspiration!
Y'know, whenever I hit the gym, I don't roll in as the most noticeable guy. I'm not very loud or vocal, I don't throw my weights around, I stay out of the way of everyone else, and generally keep to myself or my partner. But it's always such a good feeling when I look up and realize that,...
I've adopted a training routine where i focus on one or two areas of my body at a time. I try to vary the workouts themselves so as not to fall into a training rut, but these are the exercises i'm sure to cover.
Good to hear from you man. I am cutting right now. I am still around 245 at 6'3". I am back in school fulltime and working. I recently hired a trainer to assist me in getting to the next level. You are 4 lbs away to your goal? Continue to lift heavy and eat ...you will get there. Good to see you working the legs. Do not forget those calves.
