I have always been involved in sports. I love the hard work and the reward. In high school I was skinny and not much muscle. I took a weight training class and loved it.In my early 20's I worked out a lot with some benefit. At this point in my later 20's I'm seeing results and I am motivated by more than just wanting to look good.
Why I Love It:
I love the fact that I can only gain muscle and live healthier if I put in the work.I also love the feeling of being totally exhausted because I just completed a full workout that kicked my butt.
How I Stay Motivated:
My motivation comes from several sources:
1. My wife, she loves touching my arms!
2. My kids, I'm there role model
3. Law Enforcement, I don't want to be thrown around as an officer
4. Music
5. My self, inner strength

My three week goal will consist of the big three: weights, cardio, and diet. I really want to pack on 4-6 pounds of solid muscle. I also need to hit cardio pretty hard, not just for the slim down, but for the police academy. My diet is not too bad now, but there is room for improvement. My plan is to try three new supplements: Nirtotech Hardcore, Animal Vitamins, and Lipo 6. I hope I can see a difference between the pics I have up now and the ones I will take in a few weeks.
Its been fairly hot lately, so I decided to take the family to the beach today. Many of our friends came with us and we had a blast. The water was warm, the marine layer burned off around noon, and my kids were having fun. I felt like I was in a Corona commercial. The problem came when I sat in...
You'll probably beat me to the ON experiment (Nitro Core). I have two big tubs of powder to use that I just bought, so it will be a while before I get there. lol.
Just now saw that you use ON supplements. I LOVE ON! Currently, I'm using the generic GNC brand because it's massively cheaper. And since I'm not worreid about total mass, I don't realy care what I get. Have you tried their new NitroCore 24? That's what I'm interested in. I think I might have to spend the money and experiment a little with it. :)
I've learned the same thing as you. I've tried to add mass several times, and it just doesn't work. I can make gains in strength, flexibility, and endurance, though. Even that's been at a slower pace lately, but still, I hear you. And it's cool with me. I'd rather be strong and lean anyway.
