Background
I got started when I was 15 years old. I was tired of being the smallest kid in class. I was also in an abusive environment growing up so lifting felt like it enpowered me to protect myself. I just kind of kept going after that.
I love working out because it's very relaxing. I can go into my own little world and focus on myself instead. It's like I can step out of the world for an hour or two and just be content.
