I saw a photo from a vacation I took in February 2007 and was completely repulsed. I decided a very large change was in order.
Why I Love It:
It goes without saying that when you look better you also feel better but there is more to it. I enjoy the discipline. It's not easy to stay focused, so I enjoy that my will is strong enough.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation comes and goes. About 6 months ago I lost it because I let emotions take over my head. I lost focus on training, the thing that was helping me stay clean and healthy; Mind body and soul. I'm back on track and I only put on about 4 of the 38 pounds I originally lost. So motivation for me has to come from inside.
BB Accomplishments:
Like a lot of people a major accomplishment for me will be to my abs comming thru. I'm not in it for any compititions, i'm going aginst myself here.
I went from wanting to loose 25lbs to realizing that a total transformation was posible. I now want to lower body fat and get ripped.
Goal (Long):
When I started this process I was 208lbs and down on my luck. I had split from my wife, I looked old and i was feeling like garbage. In March I started eating better. I changed only my diet. I lost 15lbs. Im the first week of May I got a new job and I joined a guy, having never worked before in my life. I started hitting the gym 5 days a week and I lost another 10 lbs, but I also saw some real progress. It's that progress that led me to think I could change it all. I decided to really jump into the training. I cahange my diet to a real diet of low fat high protien, I started to cook my own food and make ALL my meals. I now hit the gym at 5am to do cardio and start my day. I hit the gym again at night to weight train and a little more cardio. In the lats 6 months i have made a transformation that I never would have thought I could and i feel absoluty great. Bring on the training!
The wonderful thing about training is how you can change it up. I have used training as a coping skill. I'm a reformed drug addict always on the defense of my desiase always ready to strike back. Although i am fit and in better shape than i ever have been, i intend to step it up again...
sorry for the late response, thanks for the encouragement, Im doing good, been at the gym every night eating right and all, if u have any tips (eating or working out) I'd love to hear it. I need all the damn help I can get :)
Thanks babe!! :)
