How I Started:
Started with cutting calories and portions. Making the right choices, and have gradually tweaked my diet. Now choosing just the right bang for my buck calorie-wise and I am officially a "gym rat" now... Haha!
Why I Love It:
Everything stressful or bad just goes away. I totally zone out! It's my world and I Loooove it!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Ultimately, its seeing my body transform, building confidence, and feeling stronger. I wish I could be like some other people and say that I did it for my family, but this is literally the only thing that I do for MYSELF! That keeps me going because I take care of and do everything else for my family.

Goal (Long):
In '06/'07 I started to work hard on losing the extra weight that I had accumulated and building great muscle. Just as I was feeling as if I didnt look "fat" in every picture that was taken of me, I became pregnant. Needless to say that when I get pregnant I gain tons of weight. Well I did! 68 pounds to be exact, topping me out at 250 pounds when I went in to have baby. Then the first time I got on the scale again was 1 week later and I was still 238 pounds. I thought OMG this is what I am left with, I DONT THINK SO! First off I nipped my baby-bearing days in the bud and now my body is completely mine again, forever, HAH! LOL! My baby is now almost 20 months old and so far I have lost 88 pounds since my first weigh in after baby. I am going to the gym again and eating clean now, completed (taking 2nd place) the same contest that I did last year with my husband and one of my friends. I am loving every bit of my new lifestyle. Next, some friends, the hubs and I are headed to Florida in August and I have an Ed Hardy bikini to look "good" in!!!! Wish me luck!
she has overcome so much. I know just how she feels. There arent many women on here that I truly relate to but its nice to know what I can somewhat look forward to my body accomplishing even though I'm older..... age is all in your head!!! YOUR AWSOME GIRL!!

Oh it's hit and miss here too. I have good support if I could quit getting sick. I swear I've gotten everything my son has brought home from school regardless if he's gotten it or not!!! What happened with your support? I'm here if you need to chat.
