Back in high school I weighed over 360 pounds (and had never set foot in a gym, so it was all fat). I decided that I could't go on like that, and I dropped about 100 pounds before I graduated. After that I joined a gym and started weight training and have been loving it ever since.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good about myself and gives me confidence, because otherwise I'm shy and totally non-outgoing.
How I Stay Motivated:
Watching basically anything with Schwarzenegger in it (especially Pumping Iron). He's my idol.
BB Accomplishments:
I dropped 100 pounds of mostly bodyfat (I was a blob before that), then started building up muscle and I went from benching barely 95 pounds to maxing 275 within a few years.
More recently, I have hit 315 for a working set of 8. One of my goals is to put up 405 for a triple before the end of 2008.
What is your favorite "healthy" dessert? Give the recipe if applicable.
a brown rice pudding dessert... its brown rice, egg whites, skim milk, Splenda and cinnamon all mixed together and chilled. it tastes absolutely amazing
