Overall Goal: I guess the weekouts are working; between 18 Nov and 4 Dec progress pics, I can already see my sides are leaning out, and I think I have gained a little size...I really need a measuring tape =P

When I Started:
How I Started:
I started running in the 7th grade and ran all the way into college. After I joined the Army, I did Army physical training and continued to run. When I was deployed to Bosnia, I had no where to run, so I started lifting weights. I've lifted off and on ever since, and study all aspects of healthy living and training.
Why I Love It:
Weight lifting is cool because you can watch your muscles work. The body is an amazing thing, but we can't watch our heart beat, or lungs work...but you can watch your muscles cranking out the reps =D
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm 37 and have a 7 year old son. I want to be strong and healthy for years to come so I can keep up with him.
BB Accomplishments:
I would say currently being in the best shape I've ever been in...and there is still work to be done.

Goal (Long):
I know fall/winter is around the corner, but my goal is to stay reasonably lean in the off season, and lean up a little more for the summer =) Working on cutting about five pounds right now.
Since you've been working out, taking supplements and eating right, how often do you get sick (cold, flu, etc.)?
Never

Do you have any type of chronic disease or condition?
Yes
What is it?
I have a strained acromioclavicular tendon (I'm pretty sure that's the phrase the doc used) = bad shoulder =)
How does fitness help you with your condition? What do you have to do differently in your program since you have this condition?
I had to start out very light when working shoulders...I could barely even do pull-ups anymore (my favorite back exercise). Since I have started lifting again, I have built my strength up to where I can do pull-ups again, although I probably won't ever be able to lift heavy shoulders.I had to start out very light when working shoulders...I could barely even do pull-ups anymore (my favorite back exercise). Where do you mainly workout?
Gym
Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
For now (while I'm working in Iraq), I use the gym on the camp I'm on. The pros: it's convenient and has a lot of equipment. The cons: sometimes crowded and slows me down; watching people who have no idea what they are doing.
I'm going to set up my own mini-gym in the garage when I get back so the wife and I can work out together. For now (while I'm working in Iraq), I use the gym on the camp I'm on.
