I looked in the mirror one day and decided enough was enough. It was time to do something about my reflection. So I gave up fried food, grease, alchohol, and sugar(especially HFCS)cold turkey and never looked back.
Why I Love It:
The looks(especially from my WIFE),the questions("Hey man, you work out?")and being in better shape at age 45 than I ever thought about being at 25. Obviously there is nothing more euphoric than the adrenaline and the pump after a workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
The MIRROR! My wife and seeing the accomplishments of all the BB.com folk. Being the envy of many other people my age doesn't hurt either.
BB Accomplishments:
None really other than going from a flabby 186# to a buff 139# in 13 weeks. I've continued to add muscle size and drop body fat to this day at @170#.
