I looked in the mirror one day and decided enough was enough. It was time to do something about my reflection. So I gave up fried food, grease, alchohol, and sugar(especially HFCS)cold turkey and never looked back.
Why I Love It:
The looks(especially from my WIFE),the questions("Hey man, you work out?")and being in better shape at age 45 than I ever thought about being at 25. Obviously there is nothing more euphoric than the adrenaline and the pump after a workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
The MIRROR! My wife and seeing the accomplishments of all the BB.com folk. Being the envy of many other people my age doesn't hurt either.
BB Accomplishments:
None really other than going from a flabby 186# to a buff 139# in 13 weeks. I've continued to add muscle size and drop body fat to this day at @170#.

I am ANGRY that I had to lose a good BODYSPACE friend, encourager & mentor today! One of my best BODYSPACE buddies left the site today due to harrassment on the site which eventually led to stalking him, even at HIS GYM! I thought the purpose of this site was to SHOWCASE exceptional...

Thanks for telling me I'm a freak, but in all fairness, I am not a 200 pound freak. I appear bigger these days because I am cutting up. I am actually merely a 192 pound freak. :(
Thanks Dave I really appreciate it! I've just been squatting and leg pressing heavy twice a week for the past couple of months. I'm back down to once a week to switch things up. I really feel those deep squats along with heavy pressing has gotten me some great results. Take care bro and once again I appreciate you stopping by.
Dave, hey thanks for checking in with me. I've been riding my bikes 100+ miles a week and having a blast. Need to get under some weights, too, so I don't get bird-bones. Man, you look better all the time. Great pics, keep it up!
