When I Started:
2003
How I Started:
i was always interested in bodybuilding but always thought i was too small.. so it took me forever to get to the gym and just drop the ego and lift!!!! i started when i was on deployment for the USAF and i have never looked back.
Why I Love It:
i just feel good about myself afterwards. and i love the science of the human body and how you can make it work for you. ive never been a very big team player as far as sports. but then i found the gym and there is only me to blame. i love that. i believe people try to find a excuse too much instead of pointing the finger at themselves.
How I Stay Motivated:
i never want to be skinny again!!!!i still feel skinny all the time but i guess thats a bodybuilder, right? never happy. you can always be bigger you figure.
BB Accomplishments:
growing from 120 lbs. to 180 lbs. and still only 11% percent fat. not giving up. and helping other with a optimist mind set.
my leg days which i do twice a week every 3rd day is simple but effective right now. squats with my heels raised(on a board or weight) i do 10 reps of 145 till i feel ready to move up then 195 till im exhausted. i travel all the way down just past the knees and really concentrate on my hams. i dont feel the need to go super heavy because i think if you try hard enough to use the muscle and keep changing the rep time and rest time and everything else you can get just as good of a workout as with heavy. but that doesnt mean i dont go heavy once in awhile.
my abs....i am doing every other day with 3 sets of crunches 30+, seal kicks(till am tired) and side crunches 30+. no cardio. im not ready to lose weight yet.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
11%
