How I Started:
In 2004 I was looking at some pictures from a recent party and didn't recognize who the fat ass was...it was me! Anyway, I just decided to lose the weight. Started running every afternoon for about 40 minutes and lost about 45 pounds, down to a sickly and unhealthy 165. I always felt run down and tired so I started lifting a little everyday and have been doing it ever since.

Walter Reed Army Medical Center! If you ever feel like giving up or thinking that you can't do something, feeling sorry for yourself...pay a visit. If that doesn't work, maybe you just can't be motivated.
I also keep old pictures of myself from my out of shape days to show me what I don't want to go back to.

Goal (Long):
I am going to try and get a sub 3 hour marathon this year. I'll likely run one or two this spring for fun, then do the Marine Corps Marathon for time...as long as I can keep from hurting myself again. I may also attempt a triathlon...a bit worried about the swim though; I can always stop running and walk, pedal slower or even stop, but I don't think you can stop swimming without sinking...
Is it me or have women's workout clothes gotten very very hot lately, like the last year or so...or am I just really noticing it more. It is very distracting, but a good distracting. Sorry if this offends anyone but I just left the gym and nearly fell of the treadmill twice...it's a...

Hahaha well I think it is a great goal and love the sense of humor, you look great by the way..really really nice abs and everything else :) Things are going really well with me..I can't complain!
