When I Started:
Jan, 2001
How I Started:
I played sports throughout high school, and was on a football scholarship in college until I had back surgery to repair a disk problem. There were some complications, and a 2nd surgery was conducted, and after it, I decided that my playing career should end (didn't want to go through surgery again in the future). I always worked out hard, but after my surgery, I began to really diet and focus on the bodybuilding phase of lifting instead of just power-lifts that I used for football. The rest, as they say, is history.
Why I Love It:
It is hard to explain the infatuation I have with bodybuilding to someone who does not do it. I love it because it makes me feel better, both mentally and physically. It is a great stress reliever from tough days at school, and I honestly look forward to going to the gym every day. I also love the way other people notice my body. It makes me feel good to have other people ask me for training tips and nutrition information.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by seeing other people. I don't want to end up as an overweight, unhealthy husband and father. The mirror motivates me every day. I always see aspects of my body that need improving and it is a challenge to mold and shape my body into a better physique. I guess I have a complex when it comes to my body. I am my own worst critic and am constantly scrutinizing myself and trying to improve my overall definition and look.
BB Accomplishments:
I have not competed in a contest yet, but that is my goal, hopefully in the next year.

Here is my current workout. I will be doing it for about 6 weeks. You have the exercise, the # of sets, the # of reps for each set, and the weight used for each set. The weight used will change week to week as I get stronger (hopefully). I will post my weights and reps when I begin on...
