Overall Goal: Positive thinking leads to dedication and determination! Try harder, be less lazy, eat clean, be a great mom, be the best veterinarian that i can and most importantly be used by God for His blessings to run through!
Fit Status:
down to 22% body fat, yee haw! clean eats AL, you are right!
My dad was a high school coach and power lifted. I started lifting in junior high. In undergraduate I lifted very seriously and had a great partner. Vet school made it alitte more difficult and I have not been very good at getting to the gym since.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of moving weight, and I love the way it changes my body. As a woman we all want to look better and lifting does a better job of that than anything else!
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation is tough for me because my schedule is so full right now. Thats why I am going to try and stay active in the BodySpace so that I can get help from others!

Goal (Long):
I started working out when I was in junior high. continued on through high school and college. In undergrad I was very dedicated and lifted seriously with a partner who was competing in bodybuilding competitions. But vet school slowed all that down. Now 16 years and two children later I am trying to get back into the lifestyle. I had to have my acl replaced in June and started my own physical therapy. I am so happy to be back in the gym. It has been difficult because I opened my own veterinary hospital a year ago and have been crazy busy and am divorced so sometimes cant find anyone to watch my monchers. But each day I get to go I am that much more commited to getting my butt back in shape!
what can i say, he is a bronco and i still find him inspiring! He works hard and trains harder! He always leaves me kind comments and I have greatly enjoyed his friendship and rivalry. go VANDALS, we may be down but we arent out!
We are so very lucky, those of us who have all our limbs and function of them. Losing a limb is a devastating thing, it causes severe mental and emotional trauma. Read his story, there is so much pain that we will never ever understand and yet he prevailed, he fell but he CHOSE to get back up, he CHOSE to go to the gym. He travels the pages of bodyspace leaving encouraging comments for all, no discrimination! He gives of himself to help others, he is an exception, he is true!
"a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified." galatians 2:16
Good Afternoon Debbie! It's funny how you mentioned turning in my hurt (pain) to God. I had quite the fit this morning before getting to work. Started asking "why this? why that? That's not fair!" As hard as it is to do, sometimes we have to stopped asking and just give it all to God and move on with our lives. Thanks for that comment! Hope you have a wonderful day basking in God's everlasting grace and love for us. :)
Praise the Lord, Dr. Deb! I thank you for your wonderful words of encouragement, so a lovely way to awaken! Whatsoever thy hand find to do, do it with all thy might
