Prior to my life in the tertiary institute I am currently studying in, I have never entered the gym before (believe it or not). It was only when I joined Ngee Ann Polytechnic (the institute I am in) Dragonboat team, that I have started going to the gym since we do that during our training itself! I started going to the gym myself about a week after I joined the competitive team sport :D
Why I Love It:
I would say the feeling is good, both to work out and stay healthy. It is a great past time and many of my friends are there in the gym with me! Seeing how I evolve really satisfies the soul :)
How I Stay Motivated:
My friends are a great motivation, both to support me as well as giving me pressure. It is a world out there where people will judge a book by its cover (even when the proverb says the otherwise). Another way to keep myself motivated, is to just say that there is never an "enough". Neither "strong enough" nor "big enough", if not, there isn't a reason to train anymore!

None yet. But hopefully in the near future, I would be able to participate in one.

Time is precious, especially when paranoia is catching up

I want to beat this paranoia of mine, the right way.
Going through the bulking phase right now, hoping to hit the 200lbs barrier I have never got near to.

Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
With gyming partners, my time at the gym would be more enjoyable. Furthermore, we can exchange advices with one another. Lastly, and almost the most important reason, they can be your spotter :D

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
I do grunt sometimes when I am working out. I feel that it is really not wrong as it helps the person to concentrate!
okay, so I am through with the dark days stuff, why? Not because I am changing any of the ideas I had, but it is just tiring to keep thinking of them (more tiring than training actually :P).
