Overall Goal:  I'd love for more of my 195 pound body to consist of lean muscle. At 6'1", I could even stand to gain a few pounds, just as long as it isn't stored around my gut.

Fit Status:  Feeling better, but now I'm nursing a strange pain in my left leg. Feels quad related, but I'm no doctor.

Motivation Level: 6/10

When I Started:
Mar, 2009
How I Started:
It had been my intention to work towards becoming healthier for quite a while. I ran across BB.com one day, and started reading articles and transformation stories. That was all the motivation that I needed.
Why I Love It:
Since I started lifting / running regularly, I find that I have more energy than I know what to do with! It's such a great feeling to be able to be active without running out of gas. Also, the self-esteem aspect doesn't hurt. If feel 100% better about myself since I started working out. Even though my physical appearance hasn't changed much yet, I know it will come if I stick to my routine, and keep my diet dialed in.
How I Stay Motivated:
Honestly, once I started noticing results, I haven't had any problem staying motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
At this point, just getting started is an accomplishment in itself. I'll update this as I progress.

Main Goal:
Transform My Body
Goal (Overall):
I'd love for more of my 195 pound body to consist of lean muscle. At 6'1", I could even stand to gain a few pounds, just as long as it isn't stored around my gut.
Goal (Long):
I've spent too much of my life being soft around the middle. It's time to fix that. I'd like to at least maintain my 195 lb. body weight, and possibly add another 10-15 lbs. of lean muscle. My goals are mostly (but not entirely) shallow. I want to have a body that I'm proud to show off. Low body fat, large toned pecs, abs, biceps, triceps, etc., and the energy to put it to use. I hope to be well on my way to meeting these goals within 12 months. I'm giving myself until March 2010 to transform my "before" picture into something that I'm much less embarrassed to post here.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 15 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
12%
