When I Started:
Feb, 2009
How I Started:
I'm literally about to start, and I would love some help for someone who is just starting out. Any advice would greatly be appreciated
Why I Love It:
My personal health is of great importance to me, recently, my family has suffered some illnesses that would have not happened had proper nutrition and health been a priority. I see myself going down the same path and I worry that it will happen to me. I have given so much of myself to my career that I want to be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor when all of my training is done.
How I Stay Motivated:
When I look at pictures on here, I'm in admiration, and I hope to be able to accomplish the same look as every one on here!
To Start up in Feb and to stay on track. I'm working with Chrissy from Goddessathelete.com, and bodyspace, she has been great and she is willing to work with me.
Goal (Long):
Want to stay on track first off with a workout routine and new diet. I know, baby steps for someone just starting but I need to try to focus.
Do you have any type of chronic disease or condition?
No

Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
No
Why or why not?
I want to make sure I make it before I let any one know about it. My girlfriend knows about it and she supports me in trying to get into a fitness routine.
I wish you nothing but success as you work towards your fitness goals and/or dreams. You have your Bodybuilding.com support team behind you all the way. Stay strong, focused and determined and may God bless.
“At first so many of your dreams may seem impossible, then they just may seem improbable, and then, through your hard work, they soon become inevitable.”
I hope that you are doing good and while I don't know what program you follow I want to say that I lost over 50 lb in just 12 weeks on the Body for Life program. It's a 12 week body transformation program that's fairly easy to do. I don't know if you heard of it but I wanted to mention it just in case. I would like nothing better than to see you achieve your fitness goals. If there is ever anything that I can do to be of assistance please feel free to give me a yell. Believe and Achieve!
Hi DOA :) Thanks for the friend REQ. How is your training going with Chrissy? I love her physique, just jaw dropping. I can't wait to see your progress :) ~Missy
lol, thank you for the compliments. I totally agree. Once you tell ppl your a doctor, they look at you differently. Dollar signs start popping up everywhere. I'm not yet, but, I have a lot of friends at work who are. It pisses me off to no end. Love my friend for who he is! *gets off soapbox*
good luck on your goals. :D One of my friends...Euroasiansurgeon has a lot of good stuff. :) Her videos are hard. lol. is the doa cause ur a medical examiner? <3
Well, according to my dad (the surgeon) I'm not a real doctor. LOL! He likes to tease me. I have a PhD in Education, specifically Organizational Development. I ran a private school for 16 years. Now, I do occasional contract work.
I don't do much; I run regularly and lift occasionally. Oh, and follow a clean diet 99% of the time. And as for my boyfriend 'helping' me.. that was a sexual innuendo. Hah
have a wonderful day. relax and enjoy urself before it starts to get crazy.
i'm taking it easy this week; first week back. but u know that comes to an end very soon; stress kicks in and well there goes all the fun. LOL
ciao ciao
Hey Doc! Thanks for the invite and the compliments. You're welcome to stop by and chat anytime....I'd be happy to offer suggestions or advice (that term used loosely, lol). And always support.....TTYL
