When I Started:
Feb, 2009
How I Started:
My weight got to the highest it had ever been, 210lbs... and it was mostly around my waist not my arms and chest! My "fat" friends were in better shape than me... not something I was accustomed to - I needed to get that old school discipline back in my life, the stuff football 2-a-days are made of and suicides on the basketball court.
Why I Love It:
The change, the transformation, the feeling that I'm working at something that most people just talk about - and getting results. The challenge and discipline it creates.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's tough - my schedule only allows me to work out in the morning. So my day starts at 5am and I'm in the gym at a quarter to 6... The changes and challenge keep me motivated.
Drop additional body fat and shred out for summer!
Goal (Long):
I need the discipline of exercise and weight lifting to keep me focused in work and life. I want to lean out, then grow my lean frame with additional mass. Keep my motivation high and strive to do better than I did yesterday.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
6%

I'm out of lifting for a couple weeks - separated my shoulder playing football. Seems to be a painful injury for most exercises... anything over head or rotational is out (which means most upper body). No pull ups, pull downs, push ups, flys, bench press... dang! I can do some bis and...
Hey Joe...sorry to hear about the shoulder. I gave up on the physical contact stuff years ago! And I am quite a bit older than you I might add. ...Just recently sold my KX125 motocross bike so I guess it's official...I'm OLD! LOL
Hey Joe how's it going? Well I took your advice and stopped using the SizeON. Straight Creatine Mono right now. Your looking good. What's your routine been?
wow......your pics are some good results men, i did p90x.....i just started back again, till i have some abs, or some results like you, it works, but for me, it takes longer i guess, im doing the diet, and the program ...i ll keep pushing play....
Hey Joe...I have to agree that P90X is a great foundation. This time I wanted to add more size so I removed the P90X "high intensity" and using low reps (6-10) heavier weights doing a 5 day split. One muscle group per day with AB work. I still use the classics...Plyo and Core Syn.
