I went on a deployment overseas and the only thing to do was work out or drink. I started hitting the gym and went from 130 to 155 in 5 months and was hooked after that.
Why I Love It:
I love it for the self pride. Staying in the gym makes me feel and look younger.
How I Stay Motivated:

I was at about 180 and just starting my quest for the big 200.
I am not getting any younger and I don't plan on slowing down anytime soon. I want to stay fit and healthy. I guess I reach my goal everyday when I am able to last longer then the young Marines at PT. I want to keep that level of physical fitness until the day I die.
I had to run my Physical Fitness Test today. It consist of a 3 mile run, pull-ups and max crunches in 2 mins. Well, I ate out last night at the local Mexican joint and had a few beers to drink. Not a good idea. I did my max of 20 pull-ups, and got 100 crunches in 49 seconds. Now when...
