Thanks for the encouragement. I am on my way down from 280 with a goal of 170. My weight loss stopped about 2 months ago and I have tried EVERYTHING to get it started again. Once I started the 12 wk video trainer I started losing size though but any w/loss or nutrition tips are certainly welcome. :)

Thanks for the support. It was rough but it's better now. I think today will be mostly a rest day. (I ended up in a gopher hole while working the horses)Good to know someone else is making it through too. :)

Yes. Elk is truly excellent. Very lean and versatile. The only thing I had to get used to with steak etc was to add some liquid back in when cooking to prevent dryness. I'm lucky because The Hubby has been a master meatcutter for 30 years (now he works rigs)so if I want sausage or something he can make it to really lean specs. Good luck to you too.

Thanks Judimax. Sure, I'd love to talk more. contact me anytime. It's really hard to battle the part of self that says "you should be doing..." isn't it? I'm a bit behind with the blog but I fit in all the wkouts this week. today was leg day for me and I was just about in tears by the end. Have you found anything that helps a bit? How are things on your end this week?
