Goal (Overall):

Goal (Long):
Right now my main goal is to lose body fat. I have already lost 40 pounds (slowly) and have quite a few to go.I hit a plateau about 8 weeks ago that I am having so much trouble breaking through and I thought Bodyspace might help. I am currently home from work on sick leave with Fibromyalgia and other health concerns, but am hoping that losing weight will help. When the pain is too much I will just keep reminding myself that the stronger I am the harder I can fight.I'll keep you posted.Wish me luck!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 75 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
20%

So almost 2 weeks ago I started working again (different job) after a year off sick. Part time hours but it takes alot of getting used to. Trying to ration energy and such. So Tuesday I was off and thinking about going to the gym and gardening a bit (prepping the beds). That  morning I ran...

Concerning your squat; make sure the bar isn't resting on the back of your neck, it should be just under that area. Try to point your elbows forward and set your core. If that doesn't work for you, i've seen a few people wrap a thin mat or towel around the bar. Cheers

Insomnia stinks. I've blogged a few times in the past few mths when it strikes. I w/o Mon-Fri in the mornings before work. I can usually still get my motor running, but had one week apprx 3 mths ago.....hardly slept all week. Still made it to the gym, but that Thurs or Fri, had one of my worst w/o's in years. Hope your w/e is spent horizontal.....

Honoured to be your friend. Though it seems illogical to work out when everything is hurting you must push through. When I started I got about 1 hr in the gym and spent the rest of the day in bed. If you have to “nap” all day to get that workout in do it! Within a couple of weeks your stamina will start to get better and the pain will lessen. If you want more I’d be happy to talk to you.
