How I Started:
I first started lifting weights because I was working at a fast food restaurant and I was starting to get fat. So I started to lift weights with my friend matt. I made some decent gains, but then matt left to go play college ball, and my training stopped. A couple of years later I met my current training partner Justin and just hearing him speak about training made me want to get back into it. So we hit it hard and I made some incredible gains but I was still wanting something more. A year after I submerged myself into weight lifting I reached another pivotal point in my life when I decided I was going to compete in my first amateur bodybuilding contest. It was one of the hardest things I had ever done in my entire life, but I survived and I competed. It was one of the best times of my life, and I don't see the end of my career anytime soon!
Why I Love It:
I love to bodybuilding because I love competition. I love walking into the gym every day knowing that somewhere my competitors are training right now, and I have to train as hard as I can to beat them. I love bodybuilding as it is but when you know your going to compete it adds a whole new passion to your lifting and that's very exciting.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by dreaming of winning a contest and touching that gold.

Goal (Long):
In February 2007 I decided to compete in my first contest, so I dieted for the next two and a half months and competed in may of 2007. Leading up to the competition I wasnt so sure how things were going to go, in fact I was just hoping to make it past prejudging which I did. At first that was all that I had hoped for, but after the top three in my class were called out and I wasnt one of them, thats when I truly realized how much winning meant to me. So after the competition was over I started eating, training, and living like a competitive bodybuilder full time no slacking off. With that being said my goal is to compete and win bodybuilding contests and I have never been so determined in my life to acomplish my goals!

Description: This is the prejudging to my first contest. Like I said I lost too much muscle, didnt diet long enough and my tan was off. But next year I will come in a lot bigger and in better condition!
Im currently on a 4 week rotation broken up into 3 extremly hard weeks and one cruise week. I belive my workout is really good because I have seen some amazing results from it. My current schedule looks like this:
I'm working on it. The half naked pics I take on my camera aren't up because I don't have a camera cord, but I did get a better picture phone so I guess that's no excuse, haha. I'm doing okay, took a break from working out when I got sick but I'm back on track as of yesterday. you?
