I met my best friend Colette Nelson 6 years ago while taking one of her insane step classes. I approached her after class one day, and asked her advice on training for a competition.
Why I Love It:
I have a deep appreciation for health and well-being. At the age of 19, I was diagnosed with a rare life-threatening pulmonary disease called Pulmonary Hypertention. Although my health will never be 100% I don't let my illness stop me, If
anything it motivates me to be a positive role-model for others.
I am a NYS licensed esthetician, certified personal trainer, and have a B.S degree in Sport and Leisure Management. With this, I have my own part-time business called Cosmetic Artistry.

How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by going to different shows and meeting new people. With my Cosmetic business, I have had the opportunity to work with some top athletes. I really enjoy making people feel beautiful, and at the same time I hope to inspire others, and to push myself harder.
BB Accomplishments:
Writing articles for Natural Fitness and Bodybuilding Magazine, working for Gaspari Nutrition at this years Olympia 08. Expanding my Cosmetic business, competing in this year INBF Swimsuit contest and making the Top 10 at the Miss CT/Miss USA pageant.
My goal is to continue to be a positive role-model for others, I participate in a lot of charity work, not just my own. Because, many people like myself face everyday challenges and everyday obstacles, which WE ALL DO in some way or another.
There's nothing better then helping someone else look and feel beautiful if I could make a positive impact on just 1 person in this world it'd put a smile on my face!
My long term goal is to continue to stay fit and healthy. I believe this has been my own prescription to health.
