When I Started:
Jan, 2009
How I Started:
Was tired of looking chubby and not liking what I see. Easy to lose the weight after the first two children. Weight and muscle tone not changing after third child with usual means. Started running ...
Why I Love It:
Stress relief and gets me doing something with my husband...now that he is deployed...hoping to surprise him with huge changes when he returns
How I Stay Motivated:
Feels good, stress relief, people noticing the changes in me, my family, and turning 40...
Just turned 39. Baby was two... just couldn't lose anymore weight or tone up with regular means... I HATE this photo! I hope the 40 y.o. view is much nicer!
I'm so excited to see how I have changed at 40 from my 39 y.o. picture.
Thanks Doc, your pics are looking very good also. Back looks great in that avi. Being a huge Patriot fan those pics are awesome. Keep it up.
God Bless
Randy
I had a good weekend. Good shoulder work yesterday morning and lots of r & r the rest of the weekend- lots of football. Glad the Pats won. Really glad the Longhorns won. R u injured or hurt?
I am as ready as I'm going to be, I've ran 14 miles twice in the last few weeks, I think I will be ok in the half but I'm starting to doubt myself in going forward with the full marathon, I just wish I had someone to train with! theres nobody that I know that wants to and no running groups close by!
I haven't trained to hard this week. My knee swole up like a ballon trying to play basketball with some high school kids. I guess I can officially say that I am getting old! But I did give them a run for there money!
Slow and steady wins the race...;) Of course, we always tend to get that "need for speed." lol! Have a great evening, Stacy. Always a pleasure to chat with you.
