"A year from now, I want to be leaner, and experience at least a 10% increase on my three major lifts. I also want to back to doing weighted pullups and increase my cardio, without sacrificing muscle."

My resolution. By April, I want to dead-lift and squat 400, bench 250 and overhead press 175. Before summer, I'm going to focus more on conditioning type goals and start olympic lifting seriously.

If you want to do a pull up, my advice is to install a pullup bar in your house/dorm. Every time you walk past it, try to do one. I read that advice on Pavel's website, and thought it was super useful.

You're welcome and happy new year. You have any big goals you're shooting for right now?

I'm doing alright. I'm trying to get ferociously strong right now, so I am bulking up. My plan is to bulk until I can't see my abs.

Right now I'm bulking. I want to become decently strong and officially an adult male (200 lbs). After I'm done bulking (power lifting), I want to get better at olympic lifting, and then cut up for summer.

Just read your post. My only advice to you is don't get discouraged and maintain your focus. This time of year is the easiest to slack off, but if you make it through, you;ll feel so much better.

My training is going well. I've been increasing my endurance, going for more and more sets per workout, and I've been making awesome progress with squats and deadlifts. Planning to cut up before spring break to really show my abs. How about you?
