Good question, I guess focus on staying healthy while having a positive outlook on things, Family, other people with the same outlook and goals is huge
Back injury here also. It happened squating light weight two weeks out prior to my show in July. I'm all mess up! I never stopped. I just keep working through the pain. No nerve damage just soft tissue and muscle so I can tolerate it. I started training a whole lot smart my trainer and I do everything possible to do movement with little to no stress on the lower back.
