Overall Goal: 3,2,1... GO! Time to really train and get my ass ready for The Games! "Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence." -Vince Lombardi
I was doing alot of training, traveling and then just hit a string of bad times, and looked in the mirror one morning and said "What the hell happened?"
Why I Love It:
I love my workouts cause It's the only thing I get nervous about these days. I love challenging my body and pushing it to its limits. The feel afterwards is a natural high and I can't get enough
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing and feeling the changes in my body. Performing a little better every time. Challenging myself both physically and mentally.

Goal (Long):
My overall goal is to become an all-around functional athlete. I love making my workouts extremely hard, "if your not nervous about your workout, then your not doing enough" -unknown. I want that beach body as much as the next guy but my main concern is more functionality then looks.
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
It was just an overuse injury to my rotator cuff and I took a little over a week off from working that area and iced and stretched alot (helps i work in a sports medicine clinic)

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
After two intense workouts the past couple days I was hurting big time going into the gym but wanted to do one last METCON WOD to finish me off before doing a light...

That's only 75lbs. My top was 105, but i haven't worked it in a long time. i miss my xfit crew a lot (lol, especially FRAN and FightGoneBad). It was the only thing that ever got me doing pull ups unassisted. Good luck with the games... Best wishes.
It's going....started PT for my knee last week. I have 80 degrees of knee flexion (whoo hoo!) I wonder if it will ever get back to full range of motion! I just have to work hard....and find a stick to bite on while my PT is bending my knee!!!
Hope you are having a good week :)
