I've always wanted to improve my fitness levels and get more healthy, but one day, I finally decided to do something about it. I went to my local gym, got signed up, and have been trying ever since to make myself a little better
Why I Love It:
How I Stay Motivated:
I think of what I could look like (obesity is something that members of my family struggle with) and that gives me enough motivation to keep trying

219 lbs. Well, uhm... not much to say, other than "lets get that tankard (100% alcohol free :D) outta that poor man!
213.2 Lbs - the downward spiral continues! More definition in the arms, less jiggly in the tummy, more slender face; the waist is looking better and my legs are showing some serious changes.
I want to hit 180 lbs, 14% body fat. I want to strenghten my wrists and abs (along with the rest of me) and I want to improve overall flexibilty for increased freedom of movement. And I want it all by summer solstice (June 21).
What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
Trying too hard and expecting tonnes of results after only a short amount of time and not enough effort; thus making me frustrated and giving up on the whole thing.

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Don't give up. You don't need to know everything about health and fitness to improve your health, and that, in the end, is what it's all about.
Well, I've been out of the picture for a bit, but just to let you guys know I'm still here. I'm down to 205 now (8lbs less than feb). I'm hoping to keep the weight loss coming. Once I break the 200 barrier, I'll be lighter than I've been since I stopped growing vertically.
You're looking great!! I'm back from the pits of the flu. Felt like a truck hit me, then backed over me again, but I'm good now. The flu does help you lose weight:)
hey...thanks for commenting on my blog. i'm kinda a perfectionist, so thats why the whole vein thing gets to me...even though i dont think anyone else would ever notice :) LOL...i dont know how many girls would fall for that line...maybe only me ;)
Sunday on the elliptical I thought about your post and I went for 30 minutes. Your comments from this site came into mind and they kept me pushing to meet the 30 minutes. BTW, I did not feel like fixing egg whites for breakfast this am, so I ate a can of tuna and two pieces of toast for breakfast - 'do not try this at home' :) Thanks.
Over the cold, I'm down 5lbs since my 'hater' vLog. One more week of 'social obligations' and then back to the serious approach. How's your training going?

Actually, I did not. Well, I had time, but elected to keep the old pic. It's my secret weapon in my battle past the pizza stand. Thanks for posting.

hey man, thanks for visiting my page. you seem very determined and looking at your pic, you have great potential. whatever you do, don't give up. i got my eye on you dude!
Thanks for the inspirational comment. It's possible for anyone, and sticking to it really is the key. 40lbs by summer is a very attainable goal. I'm going to add you as a freind so I can watch your transformation.
