I got started working because of basketball. I was always shorter and smaller than everybody growing up in high school. So i decided that being stronger and more in shape would help my performance on the court. It certainly did.
Bodybuilding came along in 2007. I actually started to learn what nutrition was and how important it is. I worked out for 4 years w/o knowing a lot that i wish i would have known. I worked at a health club for 2 years and a buddy convinced me to compete. I thought it was stupid at first and told him i'd never do it. Well i ended up giving it a shot and loved it. Its great to see how much you can do with your body and dedicate yourself to something that you want really bad. Drinking was definitely hard to avoid though..Haha!
Why I Love It:
Its what I look forward to doing everyday. I cant wait to get in the gym and workout. Seeing results is an accomplishment and reward to yourself. Putting in the time/money/hard work/discipline really does pay off if you know what your doing. BB is something that i will love to get into 100% later in my life. Right now i need to take care of a few things and have my fun while i can.
How I Stay Motivated:
Thats a good question. I couldnt imagine myself becoming unmotivated about working out and dieting. I could never give up on it. I motivate myself though more than anything. Its all mental. If you want it bad enough..then its all up to you on getting where you want to be

I just want to share what i think about the whole working out, looking good, and bodybuilding. Going to the gym and hitting the weights hard is important and its the first step. Once you've got that down(which is relatively easy) then everything else gets more detailed and harder. Eating...
Hey thanks for your response. It cn be difficult trying to do as much as possible with only so many hours in a day. Hope it works out for you later in the year. Thanks again, Jay.
