I started working out off and on since I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1996 but I didn't "stick" with it until late 2000.
Why I Love It:
Working out comes natural for a Marine!I have great genes and good symmetry and size for my height.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking in the mirror and knowing I can improve everything I see. Also knowing that I can be an "all natural" giant killer! I also have allot of support throughout the Corps and my family and friends.
EAT, SLEEP, LIFT...REPEAT!
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TAKE BUT WHAT YOU EAT!
IT'S NOT HOW MUCH WEIGHT YOU MOVE, IT'S HOW YOU MOVE IT.
BB Accomplishments:
Placing 1st at my 1st competition in Iraq in 2005. Placing 1st in the Light heavyweights, 1st in Mr. Pensacola and 1st overall in the NPC Panhandle Showdown on April 5th and backing that up with a 1st place in the Light Heavyweights and 1st overall at the 2008 Southern USA Bodybuilding Championships.

Same from the side
11 days out. First progress pics I've taken in a while. I was worried about my conditioning.
12 days till the Dexter Jackson Classic. My stomach is filled with butterflies!
Goal (Long):
I'll be doing the Dexter Jackson Classic in August to get some final contest prep and stage practice. Then it's the All Forces National Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships in Tampa, FL on October 25th where I would like to take 1st in class. Finally the NPC National championships in ATL on November 22nd where I'll be happy in the top ten (hopefully 6th-8th place).
Well it's Saturday March 8th and I'm 4 weeks out from the competition. This is crunch time and I'm pretty nervous. I just started practice posing last week (kinda late) and I forgot how hard it was. I'll start on my routine tomorrow. My diet is coming along just fine and I'll include it...
Is nothing really, passed just north of here. Seen worse in NC. Jut says he's gonna eat well & think of you tonight :> Hope the shakes & water not too bad. Thanks for thinking of us.
Awesome. Thanks for inspiring me as a Marine to get out there and finally go for the body I know I can have. Over the next couple months my goal is to drop my BF.
My original was to get to abs, which I figured was around 185 - 190, but I have been holding 203-205 and see my BF going away slow. I have picked my cardio back up, but taking a week to rest a tweaked left shoulder and elbow. The elbow I may just have to live with.
Let me know how you do at Dexters show...cuz you look like you are going to be hard to be...show them that you can compete and win naturally bro. Good Luck!!
i was like 155lbs around 5% BF at contest time..my normal weight was 167lbs. the contest pic was of my first show. and i started cold with know bulking or anything before hand. currently i am 180 lbs. and start my 8 weeks out on sunday.
Hi! No changes right now. Just last week (since I came home from vacation) I've started having breakfast before going to the gym. So I'm looking forward to seeing what the results are in a few weeks.
Hey, just noticed BBDiesel is competing same Dexter Jackson Classic. If you meet her, tell her Fit2be40 said "she's my hero". BTW, Jut said welcome to the 30 club old man!
