To enhance my martial arts, and I used to be overweight. I was in good shape until my thirties, then because of inactivity and bad eating habits my weight ballooned to 258 pounds. I joined a gym, that's where I met my MMA instructor and we worked out and did kickboxing and jujitsu. The weight slowly came off over the next 3 years with 80-90 pounds of fat lost and then 15-20 pounds of muscle gained.
Why I Love It:
Love to be in good shape and keeps me looking young. It helps relieve stress and speeds up my metabolism.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated because I want to stay in good health, that is the number one reason. Number two is looking good and feeling good. I've worked so hard to achieve my goals there is no way I can go back to being overweight.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing close to 90 pounds, then gaining twenty pounds of muscle.
Do you sometimes use energy enhancing supplements?
Yes
Which supplements do you take? When do you take them?
Maca and Horny Goat Weed. These help with energy. I take them for 4 weeks on then 8 weeks off.
