I ALWAYS ADMIRED MY UNCLE BRUCE AND MY STEP-BROTHER ROBERT(OLDER) WHILE I WAS COMING UP. THEY BOTH WERE FIT AND HAD GREAT BODIES. PLUS MY STEPDAD WHO WAS LOCAL BOXER BACK IN THE DAY WAS ALWAYS PUSHING ME TO MY LIMITS. HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO BE A ROCK. ALSO I PLAYED SPORTS WHEN I WAS YOUNGER. I WAS THE ALL STAR RUNNING BACK AND THE FASTEST IN MY TOWN. AFTER SCHOOL I SLOWED DOWN AND PICKED UP SOME WEIGHT. AFTER REALIZING I WAS TOO HEAVY...I DECIDED TO HIT THE GYM AGAIN. ALONG COMES THIS TRAINER NAMED PHIL. AT THAT TIME I KNEW HOW TO RUN A FEW MILES AND DO SOME DUMBELL CURLS....BUT I DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT LIFTING WEIGHTS, DIETING OR BODYBUILDING. EVEN THOUGH I STILL HAVE MUCH TO LEARN...HE TAUGHT ME A LOT. PHIL HELPED SHAPE MY FITNESS LIFE.
Why I Love It:
IT GIVES ME STRENGTH AND TEACHES ME PATIENCE. IT KEEPS ME HUMBLE.
How I Stay Motivated:
FIRST BECAUSE OF GOD. ALSO I STAY MOTIVATED BECAUSE OF MY WIFE, WHO IS ALWAYS SUPPORTING ME. ALSO MY CHILDREN-I WANT TO SHOW THEM WHAT DEDICATION IS ALL ABOUT.

THE FIRST TIME I COULD PUSH 300 LBS OFF MY CHEST.

Goal (Long):
My goal is to maintain a lighter weight and pack on some more muscle. Being a lighter weight and having a body fat percentage of 8% is my goal. I want to show my children (with the help of God) what it means to be dedicated to something. I also want to teach them to be active.
OOOOH!!! I've hit a wall! A big steel one too. I love getting to a point where i feel like i can't win, Or i can't lift that extra ten pounds or run that last 5 minutes or beat some other goal. Thats when i get to DIGG DEEP and bust through that wall at 100 miles an hour! So i love walls.
I know how that can be but hey we gotta do what pays the bills!! Its goin bro puttin on some weight for the winter. hopefully ill be able to trim down to about 6 or 7 % body fat in the spring Lord willin.
Don't let the overtime exhaust you too much DJ. Do what u can to maintain for now. I know with having a family it's tough...but hang in there bro. At least you're raking in the $$$$$$'s right now. That's a good thing.
What's good DJ? I had taken a week and a few days off. Fuc up my car a few weeks ago and just getting it fixed last weekend. Back in the gym now...and I feel it. Man, I'm so sore it's not even funny. I have to say...I look a lot bigger mostly fat I guesss...lol. What's been up with you man. How's the progress, weight and strength right now?
