It makes me feel great about my self, and keeps me content!
How I Stay Motivated:
Just knowing that working out and staying healthy will give me a long and happy life! And I am always going places that like the beach or pool where I have to take my shirt off.
The best bicep workout that I have experienced is: Starting off with a good warm up. That is SO important, especially if you are going to lift heavy weights. I usually do standing dumbell curls with about 25 lbs for the first set for about 10 reps and then I'll go to 30 lbs and then to 35, all for 10 reps. Then I will continue to go heavier on the dumbells for a few more sets. After that I'll do about 3 sets of curls with the barbell with a weight that is pretty hard to get around 12 reps.
I don't ever want to over-train my biceps so I only do a total of around 10 sets total per workout.
For my final excersise I do preacher curls for about 4 sets of 10 or so reps. And if I feel like I need just a little more, for a cool down. I'll do a set or two or concentration curls. The best bicep workout that I have experienced is: Starting off with a good warm up.
