How I Started:
I was the "fat kid" in school that was non-athletic and uncoordinated.
Finally got tired of a large waistline and soft looking body. I am just beginning and looking forward to trimming down the fat and adding some muscular definition to my body. Always looking for suggestions.
Why I Love It:
The adrenaline rush and seeing the changes in my body. Tension and stress release...I have a job where I sit most of the day and I need to get up and move and push out my tension; weights are a great way to do that. Also I know that I will be healthier.
How I Stay Motivated:
Feeling better than I ever have. My family...My wife...being a positive role model for my 3 kids and taking care of myself so I can be around longer to enjoy them. My trainer, although he has moved out of the area, continues to be a big motivation for me as well. I also got my CPT certification and am helping others achieve their fitness goals...which in turn motivates me to continue on my path of fitness. Also now working on my NFPT credentials.
